Largest deal 4 years in a row
Castellum’s acquisition of Norrporten is another record deal for Pangea and by far the largest property deal in the Nordics in 2016. Pangea has now advised on the largest Nordic property transactions four years in a row: Norrporten (2016 YTD), Sektor Gruppen (2015), Sveareal/Fortin (2014) and Hemsö (2013). All transactions have been cross-border with foreign buyers and/or property portfolios covering multiple countries.

Jørn Høistad, former DTZ, will join Pangea Property Partners in September at the latest. Jørn has extensive experience from the Nordic property market and since 2005 he has worked with establishing DTZ’s strong valuation business in Norway. At Pangea, Jørn will be heading the research business in Norway and work as a senior resource in property transactions across the Nordics.

Castellum announces the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in Norrporten with a SEK 26.2bn high quality office portfolio in Sweden and Denmark. The purchase price is SEK 10.4bn in cash plus 23.41 million Castellum shares. The transaction is expected to close in late June 2016, conditional on EGM and customary competition approval.
