Royal Christiania Hotel sold
In December, DNB Liv announced the divestment of Royal Christiania Hotel in central Oslo. The hotel was originally built for the Winter Olympics in 1952 and is today one of the largest hotels in Norway with 532 rooms and a total area around 46,000 sqm. The hotel is operated by Clarion Hotels, part of Nordic Choice Hotel.
Royal Christiania Hotel was acquired by Petter Stordalen and Varner. Pangea Property Partners was sell-side adviser to DNB Liv in the transaction, being the largest Nordic hotel deal in 2015. Altogether, Pangea Property Partners has advised on seven hotel transactions with 4,100 rooms and a combined property value close to NOK 8bn in 2014/2015.Till nyhetsarkiv
